Xenia’s Word on the Street accepts Opinion & Editorial (Op-Ed) pieces from the general public. We do not pay for submissions. Any Op-Ed piece submitted and published on our sites will be open to our copyright/creative commons agreement. You may read that agreement by clicking here.
Submissions may be sent to email@example.com, along with any pictures or media to be included. Topics discussed in an op-ed piece should be related to current events, past events, or views/opinions of the community.
Opinions expressed in any Op-Ed piece are that of the author alone and not the staff or contributors of Xenia’s Word on the Street. Contact information must be provided with the submission. Anonymous pieces will be not accepted. The original writer must submit the piece. Contact information will not be released to the public, however, the author’s full name (First & Last) will be published with the piece. Submissions must be sent electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org
If the writer submits a piece, Xenia’s Word on the Street may ask for the writer to verify or provide proof of identity and statements expressed as facts.
Xenia’s Word on the Street reserves the right to reject or edit any submission. If editing is required, the edits will be sent to the author for approval. We are not required to provide a reason for rejections, but will normally do our best. The date for which a submission is published is at the discretion of the Editor and no guarantee is made that op-ed submissions about events or elections will be published prior to the event or election. We will do our best!
