The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be closing the US35 Westbound Ramp to eastbound W. Main Street and the intersection of W. Main Street and Hospitality Drive for construction, starting this Friday.
The goal of the construction is to reduce traffic congestion at the Progress Drive and W. Main Street intersection and to expand access to and from the Progress Drive development area. US35 Ramp Closer from April 7th – April 8th
Weather Permitting, ODTO plans to close the West Main Street Exit from westbound US 35 at 9:00pm on Friday, April 7th. Re-Opening is anticipated by 11am on Saturday, April 8th.
Closure of a section of Hospitality Drive and Construction at the Intersection of W. Main Street and Hospitality Drive is planned from April 7th until June 6th, 2017.
ODOT will be closing Hospitality Drive between W. Main Street and Harner Drive for reconstruction of the W. Main Street and Hospitality Drive Intersection. Upon completion, a new intersection with traffic light will be used to allow access from and onto Hospitality Drive and W. Main Street, near Wal-Mart.
This new intersection is planned to greatly relieve traffic and improve safety at the Hospitality Drive and Progress Drive intersection and the W. Main Street and Progress Drive intersection as well.
The press release from the City of Xenia states ODOT will have temporary Detour Signage in place to route motorist and expects work to be completed by June 6, 2017.
